Walk from Main Quad:
Directions from 101:: Exit at Embarcadero/Oregon Expressway and follow the signs to Embarcadero West/Stanford University. Proceed on Embarcadero heading west for about two miles. Cross El Camino Real, Embarcadero becomes Galvez Street. Stay in the left lane, proceeding straight into campus (the Stadium will be on the left). Turn left at the first stop sign onto Campus Drive. Proceed approximately two miles to Mayfield Ave., and turn right. Continue for one short block, and then Mayfield makes an immediate left. There is a big parking lot on the right, and the Clayman Institute for Gender Research is in Serra House, one of the three houses in front of you. It is a tan, two-story house with a red tile roof.
Directions from 280:: Exit at Page Mill Road, and head toward Palo Alto. At the second traffic light, turn left onto Junipero Serra Boulevard. Then turn right onto Campus Drive East. Continue around campus drive, then take a left on Mayfield Ave. In one block there is a stop sign and you must take an immediate left. On the right is a big parking lot, park there and Serra House is the first of the three small houses in front of you. It is a tan, two-story house with a red tile roof.

Parking at Serra House is available on site in the Tresidder lot, and it is free and unrestricted after 4:00pm. Otherwise, during business hours, the machines accept credit cards, cash or coins. You should have the correct amount of money if you do not use your credit card, since these machines do not issue change. The receipt should be placed on the car dashboard with the expiration time and date facing up. You may purchase up to 8 hours of parking.
