Diploma Ceremonies

School of Education diploma ceremony

Following the Commencement ceremony, diploma ceremonies will be held at various campus locations and begin as early as one hour after the main Commencement ceremony which concludes at 11:30 AM. At these school and department ceremonies, deans and department chairpersons will present diplomas to graduates. Many of the ceremonies are followed by a brief reception. In most cases, the diploma award ceremonies will conclude by 2:30 PM.

For your convenience, the list of ceremony locations and a map will be published in the Commencement program distributed at the main Commencement ceremony on Sunday, June 12. More information about these ceremonies and their locations will be available by following the School links on the left.  A map and list of all the diploma ceremony locations will be available in the spring quarter.

Graduating students will be contacted directly by their schools and departments regarding specific diploma ceremony arrangements and related instructions.

Generally, no tickets are required to attend diploma ceremonies; however, some departments may require tickets or reservations due to the limited capacity of a venue. Please contact your school or department for further information about these events.
