Temporary Disability Parking Permits

If you do not have a state-issued disability parking permit, you can request a temporary disability parking permit issued by the Diversity & Access Office. The temporary disability parking permit will only be valid in specially designated lots for the Baccalaureate celebration and the main Commencement ceremony.

Please note: Temporary disability parking permits issued by the Diversity & Access Office are NOT valid in any disabled parking spaces on campus. Permits must be requested by May 27, 2016.

Wheelchair Rentals

The University does not have wheelchairs to rent or loan during Commencement Weekend. Additionally, there will not be any golf cart transportation services provided between or after the main Commencement ceremony and Diploma Ceremonies. We recommend that groups make arrangements to rent a wheelchair as needed from a local vendor or move their cars and park closer to the Diploma Ceremony site.

For Baccalaureate and the President’s Reception, there will be a golf cart shuttle service. For more information regarding shuttle services, please visit the Event Details: Disability Access Information webpage.
