After President John Hennessy's Annual Address to the Academic Council: Technology in Teaching and Learning on April 30, 2015 at 3:15PM, Amir Eshel, Edward Clark Crossett Professor of Humanistic Studies, Professor of German Studies and director of the Department of Comparative Literature, will be part of a panel discussion on the topic.

The Gerda Henkel Foundation has generously agreed to extend its support to bring scholars from German universities to Stanford’s Department of German studies through the academic year 2018-19.  The Gerda Henkel Visiting Professors spend one quarter at Stanford during which they offer a seminar in their area of expertise, present a public lecture and participate in Stanford’s intellectual community, as they continue their own research.
