Email and Calendar
University faculty, staff, and students receive free @Stanford email accounts. Google Apps provides Stanford Email and Calendar service for undergraduate students and some schools and departments. Office 365 (Microsoft Exchange online) provides Email and Calendar service for the rest of campus. An on-premises Exchange service is available by request to individuals and departments for a monthly fee.
An @Stanford email account is one of the benefits of a regular full service SUNet ID. Your campus email is hosted on Office 365 (Microsoft Exchange online), Exchange on-premises, or Google Apps, as determined by your affiliation with the University.
The Secure Email service is designed for members of the Stanford community who plan to use email to transmit Protected Health Information (PHI) in accordance with the HIPAA guidelines. The most frequent use of this service will be from the Stanford School of Medicine.

Google Apps for Education provides email, calendar, chat, document management, group, and site support for undergraduates at Stanford. Faculty, staff, and graduate students have access to Google document management, groups, and sites.
Email distribution services allow you to set up a mailing list addressed as listname@lists.stanford.edu. You can manage lists via a web-based tool that allows you to view your lists, request new lists, add/remove members, approve subscription requests, and change list properties.
Office 365 is a cloud-based email and calendaring service, hosted by Microsoft. You can access your email, calendar, contacts, and tasks from the web, a desktop client, or a mobile device.
A shared email account allows a group of people to share a single Stanford-provided email account.
Workgroup Manager is a web application that gives Stanford community members a place to define groups of community members for use in various online applications, including web authentication. Though the name workgroup may imply usefulness only to faculty or staff, workgroups can be helpful to, and maintained by, anyone with a current SUNet ID.
