About the Madrid Program

Madrid Program Introduction
The Madrid program welcomed its first group during Winter Quarter 2007-08 and officially celebrated its opening with inauguration ceremonies on May 30, 2008. Through the Madrid program, Stanford undergraduates have the opportunity to take academic courses, live with Spanish families, study the Spanish language, and engage in cultural activities in Europe’s third-largest city. The program is available during Autumn, Winter and Spring quarters.
