Anna Cellinese

Lecturer and Coordinator of the Italian language program

Anna Cellinese holds a Ph.D in Italian studies at Stanford University. Her doctoral thesis, entitled "Paths, Hills, Labyrinths: Itineraries in the landscape of Italian Resistance," focuses on the aesthetics and perception of the landscape in the literary production of the immediate post-war period. She has published articles on Fenoglio and Pavese as well as on language pedagogy.  She  currently coordinates the Italian language program and teaches Italian language and culture at Stanford University. Her current research addresses second language acquisition, teaching methodology and curriculum development.
