IN THE SPOTLIGHT
This video could save your life
You may think of it as "a man's disease" or "a disease old people get," but heart disease is the #1 killer of women, across many ages.
Experts from Stanford's Women's Heart Health Clinic urge all women to know their numbers, listen to their bodies, and spread awareness about women's heart disease.
Webinars
Past and Present
To improve our ability to disseminate the latest health information, HIP offers webinars that can be viewed from the convenience of participants’ own computers. These webinars address a wide range of health promotion and preventive medicine issues on a variety of vital topics.
Every quarter, HIP offers a number of live, interactive webinars (fee-based) on timely health issues. To find current webinars, in the search field on the class registration page, type in "webinars."
View a list of past HIP webinars that are available for current viewing (free).
Wellness on Wheels
Let HIP bring classes to you.
The Health Improvement Program (HIP) brings Fitness and/or Healthy Living classes to your University or SHC/LPCH department via Wellness on Wheels (WoW). Many of the classes that are offered each quarter by HIP can be brought to your worksite.
