SEPI: Cognitive Aging and Alzheimer's Disease with Victor Henderson, MD, MS
Date: Thursday, December 10 | Time: 1:30–2:30 pm | Location: Clark Center, S360 (located behind Peet's Coffee), Stanford
Cognitive decline that accompanies "usual" or "normal" aging differs from impairment that can be attributed to changes of Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. A number of strategies are proposed to ameliorate cognitive aging. This presentation will review evidence on strategies that an individual might undertake during middle or older age, as well as provide an overview of the new NIH Stanford Alzheimer's Disease Research Center.
