Responsible Conduct of Research
All postdoctoral scholars at Stanford should complete training on a responsible conduct of research no later than the end of the first quarter of their appointment at Stanford. Postdocs on any support from the National Institutes of Health or the National Science Foundation must complete such training.
For more details or questions about this requirement, please visit the Dean of Research Office's "Responsible Conduct of Research" website.
The University offers two means to postdocs to gain the knowledge and skills necessary for them to meet the standards of responsible conduct of research: by completing a web-based training module through CITI, or by completing the Responsible Conduct of Research course offered through the Center for Biomedical Ethics.
Questions or inquiries regarding research compliance or misconduct should be directed to the Research Compliance Office.
