Sean Stone

China Climate Finance Intern

Bio

Sean is the China Climate Finance Intern in the Finance Program. He is researching China’s investment history and determining the future investment potential within their Belt and Road Initiative.

Sean previously worked for the County of Los Angeles Board of Supervisors, assisting with environmental and air quality management issues. He has also worked in government relations, helping to advocate for environmentally sound groundwater rights in communities across California.

Sean holds a B.A. in political science from the University of California, Davis, and will be entering his second year of graduate school at the University of Michigan, where he is pursing a Master of Public Policy.

Sean is currently on the University of Michigan rugby team, and is a passionate fan of the New York Yankees.
