Additional Service Year Programs
- Citizens Housing and Planning Council Fellowships: CHPC is a non-profit policy research organization dedicated to improving housing and neighborhood conditions in New York City through cooperative efforts of the public and private sectors. Their recently instituted William R. Ginsberg Fellowships are aimed at two groups: recent college graduates and graduate students, and senior practitioners and policy makers.
- City Hall Fellows: Our mission: Engage diverse, talented young people in the work of cities. Empower them to be effective local change agents. Support their evolution from community-oriented student to local citizen leader.
- City Year: At City Year, we’re working to bridge the gap in high-poverty communities between the support that students actually need, and what their schools are designed and resourced to provide.
- Coro Fellowship: Coro trains ethical, diverse civic leaders nationwide.
- New York City Urban Fellows Program: The Urban Fellows Program is designed to introduce America's finest college students and graduates to local government and public service.
- Teach for America: We recruit a diverse group of leaders with a record of achievement who work to expand educational opportunity, starting by teaching for two years in a low-income community.
- Teaching Fellows: We prepare exceptional teachers for the students who need them most – those in our country’s most disadvantaged communities, where too many children start school behind and struggle to catch up.
- Venture for America: A new fellowship, modeled on Teach for America, that supports recent college grads to work in a start-up business in a low-cost city for two years.
