Poverty and Inequality in Silicon Valley

Inequality Event Flyer
May 28, 2015 - 7:00pm
Branner Hall Lounge, 655 Escondido Road

Been reading about people sleeping on the 22 bus that runs down El Camino, families getting evicted or priced out of the Peninsula, or contract tech workers struggling to make ends meet? Concerned about the growing inequality in our region? Wondering if there’s anything you can do about it?

Join the Program on Urban Studies for a short film screening and discussion about poverty and inequality in Silicon Valley. We’ll watch Hotel 22, then talk with filmmaker Elizabeth Lo and Maria Noel Fernandez, director of the innovative Silicon Valley Rising campaign. Dessert will be provided!

Where: Branner Hall Lounge
When: 7pm on Thursday, May 28
