Fellowship in Academic General Pediatrics
The Fellowship in Academic General Pediatrics, at Stanford University aims to prepare physician scholars with innovative methods for improving child health by securing an understanding of rigorous research methodology and building leadership skills as advocates for child well-being.
We seek applicants with interests in technology- and solution-oriented research that will improve child health through interventions at the level of the delivery system, the community, and/or the family unit. The two-year fellowship provides structured training in research methodology which includes study design, epidemiology, biostatistics, programming, behavioral research, and solution-oriented design. The training is complemented by opportunities to build other skills necessary for academic success. New fellows will have an opportunity to pursue a Masters in Epidemiology or Health Services Research. The deadline for applications is October 1, 2017 - Application.
