BEAM Career Education
Aside from its obvious purpose to help you find satisfying and meaningful employment at the end of your Stanford career, the Career Education through BEAM is also a great place to go long before you graduate. The CDC can help you find campus jobs during the academic year, as well as summer jobs and internships, locally and elsewhere. Go to the website and register with Cardinal Careers to access the jobs/internships database. If you are unsure about which career is right for you, the CDC has career-related assessments you can take to see where your interests, values, and skills might point. CDC-sponsored career/internship fairs and information sessions with potential employers are also offered. You can also schedule an appointment with a member of the CDC team (Amy Brierley, Kathy Campbell and Kristin Conner) devoted to helping freshmen discuss plans for their future. Keep your eyes open for information on the CDC’s annual Frosh Open House, a Stanford tradition, held in early January. Find out how the BEAM can help you during your first year.

Office of Accessible Education
The Office of Accessible Education (OAE) is the centralized office designated to provide academic and other accommodations for students with documented disabilities at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. OAE enables students with disabilities to participate fully in the educational experience at Stanford while meeting the academic standards maintained by the University. The Schwab Learning Center (SLC), established by a generous endowment from Charles and Helen Schwab, offers enhanced services specifically for students with Learning Disabilities and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.
Office of Alcohol Policy and Education
The mission of the Office of Alcohol Policy & Education is to reduce high-risk drinking and its related negative consequences among Stanford students and increase social outlets that support non-drinkers and light drinkers by providing collaborative, cutting-edge, empirically-proven educational strategies and programs.
The Cardinal Nights social activities program and 5-SURE safe rides program are housed within OAPE.

Office of Sexual Assault & Relationship Abuse Education & Response
The Office of Sexual Assault & Relationship Abuse Education & Response (SARA) is a resource for students, faculty, and staff for all matters related to sexual and relationship violence. We assist students who have experienced these issues and collaborate with members of the campus community to promote the right of students to live, work, and study in a safe and healthy environment. The SARA Office provides education to increase awareness and prevent incidents from occurring, and intervenes to ensure effective and comprehensive response when cases are reported. Staff provides support and advising about Stanford policies and procedures as well as available resources so that students can make informed decisions based on their options. Our network of resources - both on and off campus - provides a wide range of services including advocacy, counseling, medical care, and housing and academic assistance.

The Ombuds Office
The services of the Stanford University Ombuds Office are available to all students, faculty, and staff. The Ombuds Office seeks fair and just resolutions of disputes and complaints through confidential, neutral, and informal processes. The Ombuds can coach and advise, offer options, educate about relevant policies, refer to useful resources within the community, make inquiries, and facilitate difficult conversations. The Office of the University Registrar supports teaching and learning at Stanford by maintaining the integrity of academic policies and the student information system.
Sexual Harassment Policy Office
The Sexual Harassment Policy Office is a resource for all students, faculty, and staff. Stanford University strives to provide a place of work and study free of sexual harassment, intimidation or exploitation. Where sexual harassment is found to have occurred, the University will act to stop the harassment, prevent its recurrence, and discipline and/or take other appropriate action against those responsible. The office staff and sexual harassment advisers can provide support and advice about Stanford's policy and procedures. If you have questions or need assistance, consult one of the many sexual harassment advisers listed on the Sexual Harassment Policy Office website or contact the office directly at 650-724-2120, email harass@stanford.edu. The Sexual Harassment Policy Office is located in the Mariposa House, 585 Capistrano Way, Rooms 208 & 209.
Stanford Department of Public Safety
The Stanford University Department of Public Safety (SUDPS) is a multi-service agency that provides for law enforcement, security, safety, crime prevention, and emergency services for the Stanford campus and community 24 hours a day, seven days a week. For more information on our wide variety of community outreach and crime prevention programs and services, please visit our website at police.stanford.edu or call (650) 723-9633 (M-F, 8am-5pm). To report an emergency, call 9-1-1 or 9-9-1-1 from a campus phone. To report a non-emergency (24/7), call (650) 329-2413.
Student Financial Services
The Student Financial Services Office (SFS) produces the University bill for students for tuition, housing, health insurance, etc. Their office is located together with the Student Services Center at Tresidder Memorial Union, 2nd floor. We highly recommend that students use Stanford ePay, the University's online billing and payment service, which provides a convenient way for students to view their University bills, make payments to their accounts and authorize others to view and pay the University bill on their behalf 24 hours a day. For the fastest receipt of funds, students should use Direct Deposit.

The Student Services Center can assist you with University billing, financial aid disbursements, stipends, ePay, Direct Deposit, enrollment, registration, Stanford degree policies and procedures, Stanford ID card, forms pickup/dropoff, and more.
