Stanford Alumni Mentoring

Stanford Alumni Mentoring (SAM) is an online mentoring program designed to help current students connect with alumni to navigate their life at Stanford and beyond. SAM has been part of Career Education in the Office of Student Affairs since 2002.

Block S Society members can create a SAM profile and join the Block S Society group to mentor current student-athletes and help them to navigate life as a student-athlete at Stanford, as well as after they graduate. Varsity student-athlete alums in the Block S Society group can also interact with each other, developing a vast network to connect with during the various stages of their career.

An email with a unique link was sent to every varsity student-athlete alumnus with instructions on how to sign up for SAM and the Block S Society group. If you did not receive the email, contact Austin Lee (austindlee@stanford.edu), who can send you a unique link with instructions on joining.

Free Event Tickets

Block S Society members are eligible to receive one (1) complimentary ticket to all regularly scheduled home sporting events on a space-availability basis. Block S Society members can purchase additional, adjacent tickets when claiming their free ticket. Tickets are not available for special events, postseason, or NCAA championships.

Ticket redemption will occur online on a weekly basis, beginning every Monday at 9:00 a.m. through the following Sunday for all Block S eligible sporting events.

You must register your account in order to be eligible to claim tickets online.
