This week, the President traveled to Indiana and to California, where he spoke on expanding economic opportunity for every American, addressed the ongoing Ebola outbreak in West Africa, and dedicated the American Veterans Disabled for Life Memorial.

Friday, October 3^rd

• On National Manufacturing Day, the President traveled to Princeton, Indiana to tour Millennium Steel and discuss the importance of continuing to invest in American manufacturing.

Sunday, October 5^th

• The President spoke at the dedication for the American Veterans Disabled for Life Memorial, honoring heroes who have sacrificed on behalf of our nation, and making clear that we must provide proper care for our veterans.

Monday, October 6^th

• The President met with his senior health, homeland security, and national security advisors to review the United States' response to the ongoing outbreak of Ebola.

Tuesday, October 7^th

• The first female Chief Technology Officer of the United States did her first interview, for Fortune's Most Powerful Women Summit.

Wednesday, October 8^th

• The President went over the river to the Pentagon to meet with his entire military leadership.

Thursday, October 9^th

• The President ventured out west, for a three day trip on the left coast. He spent his first day in Los Angeles, holding a town hall at Cross Campus Co-Working space in Santa Monica, to discuss how one of the things that’s helping to power America’s recovery is American innovation.
