Law

Several members of the Stanford Law School faculty focus on energy. Research topics  include the enforcement of environmental laws and regulations on energy, as well as the effects of U.S. energy policies and laws on politics, national security, the economy, climate change and renewable technologies. Areas of interest include the implementation of a carbon tax, the U.S. Clean Power Plan and legal issues surrounding the consrtruction of major oil and gas pipelines.
