We offer a one-year, AUPO FCC-certified pediatrics fellowship that is designed for physicians who have completed residency training in ophthalmology at the time the fellowship commences. Activities will consist of outpatient clinical and surgical care, inpatient consultation, didactic learning, and presentation at national conferences. Training will be tailored to the fellow’s previous training and future interests including opportunities for research and teaching. The pediatrics faculty, consisting of Drs. Scott Lambert, Doug Fredrick, Euna Koo, Deb Alcorn, Darius Moshfeghi (ROP), Prithvi Mruthyunjuya (retinoblastoma), and Shannon Beres (pediatric neuro-ophthalomolgy) provide supervision. Upon completion of this training, fellows will be broadly trained to diagnose and manage a variety of pediatric ophthalmologic diseases.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Please contact the fellowship coordinator Clarissa Saluta (csaluta@stanford.edu) for further information.
