Decadence

students enjoy gelato near the decadence kiosk in Tresidder Union

Decadence, Stanford’s newest sweet spot, features authentic Italian gelato scooped from two freezers glossed bright Ferrari red and Lamborghini green, and churned before your eyes. It’s so tasty, we’ve noticed lots of students breaking the no dinner-before-dessert rule.

Maybe that’s because gelato, ice cream's Italian cousin, has a silky texture, and bonus—a lower percentage of fat than ice cream which allows its flavors to really shine through.

Decadence offers a variety of flavors—16 in total including campus favorites mint chocolate chip and stracciatella.

Fruit and non-dairy options are also available.  Our sources report that lemon sherbet is a crowd pleaser among visitors and campers this summer. Our array of sauces and toppings include Kettle corn, mocha, caramel pearls, pralines, and more. And, if gelato's not your thing?

Try our other delectable goodies including freshly baked cookies, brownies, ice cream sandwiches and seasonal specialty beverages including Italian sodas.
