Graduate Pathways to STEM

Main content start

Bay Area Graduate Pathways to STEM (GPS) is a one-day symposium co-sponsored with UC Berkeley where students attend informative workshops addressing the benefits of pursuing an advanced degree, both MS and PhD. In addition, participants get the opportunity to connect with a graduate-student mentor who can offer guidance on the application process.

The mission of Bay Area GPS is to inspire diverse talent to become the next generation of innovative leaders through advanced engineering degrees. Bay Area GPS promotes graduate school opportunities to students minoritized in STEM, first-generation students, and low-income students at Bay Area, Northern California, and select Southern California universities.
