Seeds of Change Leaders

Who are Seeds of Change Leaders?

Seeds of Change Leaders are Stanford University undergraduate students who are pursuing STEM educations and careers, and who are committed to supporting the advancement of girls and young women in STEM. In addition to advancing their own leadership, Leaders work in pairs to mentor and guide a group of high school students through an innovative and interactive leadership curriculum over the course of the academic year.

Why be a Seeds of Change Leader?

Seeds of Change works at the intersection of LEADERSHIP + GENDER EQUALITY + STEM. Leaders will have the opportunity to:

  • Advance their leadership by participating in FEMGEN99: Seeds of Change, a leadership training course that builds confidence, competence, and resilience for emerging STEM leaders;
  • Conduct social science research as a paid member of the Seeds of Change research team;
  • Impact the pipeline of women in STEM by training and becoming the industry’s future leaders.

Stanford undergraduate students of all genders, identities, backgrounds, and experiences are encouraged to apply.
