PG&E is reporting a widespread outage affecting thousands of customers in Berkeley and many City buildings, including the Finance Customer Service Center and the Permit Service Center. Parking Lot Tax Requirements

  • Parking Lot Tax (officially known as the Parking Space Rental Tax) is a City tax of 10% on the rate charged to park in a lot within the City of Berkeley. It is paid by customers using the parking lot, and collected by the parking lot operator and remitted to the City of Berkeley.
  •  Parking Lot Tax Remit Form: to be completed by parking lot operator and returned to City of Berkeley - Treasury Division, along with tax payment due.
