PG&E is reporting a widespread outage affecting thousands of customers in Berkeley and many City buildings, including the Finance Customer Service Center and the Permit Service Center. Purchasing a Merchant Parking Permit

Businesses within a designated merchant permit range may purchase 1 permit annually for the period March 1 – February 28.

Merchant parking permit locations and restrictions:

  • Business must be located within Merchant Permit Range designated by the Office of Transportation, as displayed in the Merchant Permit Address Range Chart, below.
  • Business License must be current and display the address within a designated range.
  • 1 permit is issued per business for the Block Front assigned in which to park.
  • Merchant Parking Permits are $185.00 for the annual period of March 1 – February 28. Permits are issued year-round.
