Public university presidents across the nation are discussing a new source of money to keep their campuses going.
In five regional meetings this month, they'll take up the topic of how to get more dollars from the federal government to replace dwindling state support of their institutions.
University of Washington President Mark Emmert said in an interview Friday that it will take a collection of solutions to maintain the quality of higher education in this country.

The five regional meetings of university presidents are being held in Texas, Washington state, Georgia, Wisconsin and New Jersey.
