When Vaden is Closed
1. You can book an appointment for a time when Vaden is open, using the VadenPatient portal.
2. Stanford Medical Center Emergency Department is open for EMERGENCY visits 24 hours a day. These visits will be charged to your insurance. There is a $75 copay for Cardinal Care.
3. Palo Alto Medical Foundation Urgent Care, on El Camino Real, has extended hours. Check the website for hours and call to make sure they accept your insurance. You will need to present your insurance card at the time of service. If a follow-up visit with a specialist is recommended, contact Vaden to ensure the most cost effective coverage. There is $30 copay for Cardinal Care.

5. For URGENT advice only call 650-617-2576 to reach our answering service. Be prepared to provide your name, student ID, and a brief description of your concern. They will contact the physician on call.
