The Stanford Honor Code

The Honor Code is the University's statement on academic integrity written by students in 1921. It articulates University expectations of students and faculty in establishing and maintaining the highest standards in academic work. By enrolling or viewing courses and materials delivered by the Stanford Center for Professional Development, you are required to abide by the Stanford University Honor Code.

The Fundamental Standard

The Fundamental Standard sets the standard for conduct of all students at Stanford, and has since it was enacted in 1896.

General University Policies

Students are responsible for knowing and adhering to other university policies, standards and guidelines while they are at Stanford besides the Honor Code and the Fundamental Standard.
