Stanford Ignite – Full-time

Stanford Ignite participants

Stanford Ignite is offered in summer as a four-week, full-time program for working professionals and graduate students.

Eligibility

Graduate students currently pursuing a master’s, MD, PhD, post-doc program in a nonbusiness field.

Professionals with a bachelor’s degree and some professional experience (an advanced degree is preferred).

If you have an MBA, graduate degree in management, and/or extensive managerial training, you are not eligible to apply.

Time Commitment

Stanford Ignite provides approximately 100 classroom hours and 100 to 150 project hours. It requires a 100% time commitment for the duration of the program.

Admitted applicants must be able to attend all sessions. Due to the intensive nature of the program, applicants with other commitments such as employment, research, or coursework are encouraged to apply for the part-time offering.

Tuition

The cost of attendance includes course materials, program events, and some meals.

Housing (single-occupancy) is available on a limited basis for non-Stanford participants. Due to the rigorous nature of the program, participants are strongly encouraged to stay on campus.

* Current Stanford graduate students and post-doctoral scholars are generously supported through a tuition subsidy from the Office of the Vice Provost for Graduate Education.

Admission

Submit your application as early as possible. To be considered for admission, your application must include:

  • Current resume
  • A series of short essays
  • Two recommendations submitted via the application website
