About LIVERight
LIVERight is an annual event that unites people worldwide to raise awareness about hepatitis B and liver cancer. Started in 2005, LIVERight was traditionally a 5K run/walk hosted by the Asian Liver Center and Answer to Cancer.
In November 2010, the Asian Liver Center hosted the 5th annual LIVERight Zumbathon in partnership with Stanford Physical Education, Recreation and Wellness; Be Well @ Stanford; and Answer to Cancer. The 6th annual LIVERight 2011 returned as a Telethon in partnership with KTSF Television, the largest Asian language broadcast station in the United States, airing on July 23, 2011.
LIVERight donations benefit the Jade Ribbon Campaign and the fight against liver cancer. Some specific projects include the annual Youth Leadership Conference, community outreach events, and global health initiatives.
