iPhone with Verizon

iPhone 5

  • Orders now being accepted. Due to overwhelming demand, orders placed for all models of iPhone 5 will be shipped in 14 to 21 business days.
  • Note: the iPhone 5 introduces a new, smaller accessory connector called Lightning which is not compatible with accessories purchased for previous iPhone models. A Lightning to 30-pin adapter, sold separately, is required.

iPad Ordering

You must order the iPad Mini and the new fourth-generation iPad directly from Apple. The Cell Phone & Mobile Device office cannot order for you.

An iOS device is still your best choice if you work with Restricted Data.

Overview

iPhone requires both a qualified voice plan and a data plan. Please select from the equipment and plans below and provide your selection to your department contact, who will order your service. Please note that initial, estimated delivery time is five to seven business days (even on rush orders).

Verizon uses CDMA technology. iPhone 4S features two antennas that enable it to work with GSM technology in most regions of the world, but other devices might not. Check with Verizon before you purchase a device to get information on a specific country.

Add AppleCare+

We highly recommend that you purchase AppleCare+  within 30 days of buying your device. Your iPhone purchase date is the date your device shipped and you were charged for your order. To order AppleCare+, write down your cell number and the serial number of the iPhone, then call the Apple Contact Center at 1-800-275-2273.

Note: IT Services cannot order this service for you. Please use a Stanford PCard or personal credit card to pay the one-time $99.00 charge.
