Internationally Renowned Kenyan Journalist and Activist John Githongo is this year's Haas Center Distinguished Visitor

John Githongo, internationally renowned Kenyan journalist and activist Githongo who exposed government corruption in Kenya, was featured in a recent article from the Stanford Report. Githongo will spend 10 weeks at Stanford University interacting with students, faculty and community groups. He will deliver a public lecture on authoritarianism in Africa on February 5, 2015, hosted by the Haas Center for Public Service and co-sponsored by the Center for African Studies (CAS).
