Engineering Office of Student Affairs
The Engineering Office of Student Affairs is located in the Huang Engineering Center Room 135. Come to us to:
- Get help with school-level policies or procedures
- Submit an academic petition for a requirement exception or to apply transfer credits to your UG major
- Get answers about preparing for undergraduate graduation

Browse through questions commonly asked by freshmen and learn their answers, explore frosh-friendly courses from across campus and use that information in building a potential schedule, and get to know the members of your advising team who will be there to answer your questions throughout the year
Research opportunities
The Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program helps undergraduate engineering students get involved in advanced research projects over the summer by providing opportunities and resources for students to work with faculty members and their research groups. Engineering Diversity Programs
The School of Engineering invests in a broad range of recruitment and retention programs geared towards increasing the breadth and diversity of engineering. Go to the EDP site for information on the Summer Session Grant, Accelerated Calculus for Engineers program, Opportunity Job Fair, Graduate Professional and Peer Advising program, and other programs of interest to future, incoming, and current students.
The Global Engineering Programs provides international programs specifically tailored to engineering students' education. The purpose of these programs is to enhance engineering education by providing students with an opportunity to learn about technology and engineering globally, to build professional networks, and to gain real world work experience in a culturally diverse and international environment while at the same time building relationships with top-tier universities.
