Stanford Faculty Development Center for Medical Teachers

SFDC Literature Databases

Each of our faculty development programs has a literature database saved as a bibliographic database file, managed by EndNote. The databases include citations for articles and abstracts/annotations where available, books, and other publications that are tightly linked to each program's curricular content. The databases are not intended to serve as comprehensive reviews of the literature, but rather as sources of relevant supplemental readings.

We are offering these databases on our website to anyone interested in the topic areas covered by our programs. Only the Medical Teaching (MT) and SFDC Alumni databases are currently being updated since the other programs have reached the end of their funding. Both PC and Mac users will download an EndNote compressed folder (.enlx) containing an EndNote library database .enl file and acompanying .Data folder. To view and search any of these databases you will need to have a purchased copy of the EndNote program or download the free trial (see below). (EndNote Help).

Lists of searchable categories are available on this website in PDF format. To view PDF files, you will need Adobe's Acrobat Reader http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep.html (PDF Help)
