The Stanford GSB Archive is dedicated to the preservation of the memory and record of the school. It is also committed to using its resources to tell the story of the school through various media.
About the Archive
The Stanford GSB Archive, within Stanford GSB Library, documents the history of Stanford Graduate School of Business, as well as certain aspects of the larger university. Additional miscellaneous material relating to American and European business history is included.
Collections include official records, videos, reports, publications, correspondence, maps, posters, photographs and memorabilia. Some examples are the successive long range plans of the school, early course listings, videos of teaching faculty, photographs from the Women in Management conferences, Phil Knight’s shoes from the groundbreaking of the Knight Management Center, Stanford GSB yearbooks and student directories, photographs from the 75th anniversary of Stanford GSB in 2000, speeches from the Arbuckle Award dinners, transcripts of faculty discussing the curriculum changes of 2007, the clock that sat formerly in the Dean’s office, and bound issues of the Reporter newspaper.
Archival materials highlight campus life, academic and administrative plans and programs, the teaching faculty, research, student activities and community relations.
