Top Private Employers
Another measure of the economic vitality of a community is job attraction, creation and retention. Major employers are not necessarily the top revenue generators of a city, but are an important hallmark. In a discussion of jobs/housing balances, it is critical to have desired jobs to employ both local and regional residents. Private employers offer these critical jobs which are an important facet of economic development effectiveness.
