It's “Super Saturday” at Christmas in the Park in downtown San Jose, as VTA rolls in to help Toys for Tots “stuff the bus” with new, unwrapped toys for children in need.

Beginning January 1, 2016 riders will no longer be able to purchase a paper Day Pass from bus fare boxes or light rail ticket vending machines.

A pedestrian overcrossing bridge was recently installed between the future Milpitas BART and the Montague Light Rail Stations, marking a major milestone in VTA’s plan to bring BART service to the South Bay.

VTA launched the Interstate 680 Transportation Survey in late August through an interactive crowdsourcing map that enabled the public to provide input on specific geographic locations along the I-680 corridor.

Traffic lanes are now in their final project configuration with much of the street widening and paving finished for the time being. Minimal construction activity in December will pave the way for holiday shopping and festivities planned for Alum Rock.
