Description
Exposes students to the work-up and management of infertility and common reproductive endocrinologic problems at Stanford University Medical Center. Includes extensive exposure to assisted reproductive technologies and some explosure to ambulatory surgery. Note: Visiting students must obtain approval through Jackie Signor, Residency Admin., prior to applying for this clerkship. Please e-mail requests to jsignor@stanford.edu. Interested students must send their CV, USMLE score(s), current transcript and a letter of recommendation from the Ob/Gyn Clerkship Director attesting to clinical abilities (i.e. proficient H&Ps and exam skills). These must be sent at least 4-6 weeks prior to the start of the period in which the student would like to enroll.

Prerequisites
Gynecology 300A, C, or D.

Periods Available
1-12, full-time for two weeks (longer by arrangement). Students should check with Dr. Milki’s office regarding the schedule for in vitro fertilization. 1 student per period. Not recommended to take this clerkship in P2A, P2B and P3A -- light schedule.
