Wahab brings a unique blend of higher education and entrepreneurial experience to the Career Ventures team. Prior to joining Stanford, he was the Founder & CEO of CollegeZen, a Startup exploring the college admissions space with funding from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Before starting his company, Wahab was at Carnegie Mellon University creating a first of its kind recruiting event geared towards supporting Startups.

Employer Brand Development

We are currently focused on leveraging media to create larger platforms for companies in this industry to share their employer brand and reach the right candidates. In addition, companies  can leverage our expertise in developing and marketing their employer brand to students. Please contact us if you would like to be involved during the beta phase of this process.

 

Startups and Emerging Companies Fall Career Fair

Held once in the Fall and Spring quarters this event is designed specifically for emerging companies, early stage start-ups and entrepreneurs to engage, connect, and recruit Stanford students.  The format and layout allows attendees the opportunity to share information about their company story, mission, and/or products with all in attendance. Unplugged at Stanford

Info session 2.0 on the farm

Companies showcase themselves through a 1:1 conversation via Google Hangouts and conveniently participate from wherever they are in the world – questions are crowd sourced during a live broadcast. The conversation is recorded for students to view at a later date through YouTube.
