When to contact your plan administrator

Stanford contracts with external organizations, called plan administrators, to provide employees and retirees with a comprehensive benefits program. Contact the plan administrator for specific information about your benefits covered under that plan, including:

  • What’s covered
  • How a plan works
  • Where to find providers
  • How to file a claim
  • Claims payments
  • Paying contributions or COBRA premium
