The Strategy and Architecture group is responsible for producing and maintaining the enterprise technology strategy for IT Services. The group is also responsible for maintaining high-level technical architecture standards used across IT Services. The S&A group collaborates with IT management and technical owners of services to set direction and review design standards.
Through a rich set of professional relationships, the Strategy and Architecture team collaborate with counterparts at several peer higher-education/research institutions to share common practice and collective insight in the use of technology in support of Stanford University's mission. The team also leverages strategic relationships with specific vendors and shares relevant insight with Stanford community and peer institutions where possible.
