Often, parents seek child care that is off campus or in their home. We understand that each family's needs are different and are here to help find the best option for you.

Center-Based Child Care and/or Family Day Care Providers

To find child care and day care centers in your area:

If your area is not listed, try an internet search with your area and “4cs”.

To find NAEYC Accredited Centers, visit NAEYC for Families.

We suggest you call Community Care Licensing to confirm that a provider’s license is active and to request a file review:

Tuition Savings Programs

Knowledge Universe/CCLC

Stanford University faculty, staff, postdocs, students and hospital staff save 10% on standard weekly tuition rates for full- and part-time care at KinderCare Learning Centers, Champions Before- and After-School Programs and participating CCLC Child Care Centers (please note: Stanford's employee sponsored on-site CCLC Centers are excluded from the tuition savings program).

Bright Horizons

Through the Bright Horizons Back-Up Care Advantage program, benefits-eligible faculty and staff have the following supports to assist in the search for ongoing child care:
  • Priority access enrollment status for full-time enrollment at Bright Horizons child care centers
  • Discounts at their partner network centers

Home-Based Child Care

Typically, there are three options available for those looking for in-home child care: nannies, babysitters or au pairs.

Drop-In Child Care Resources

There are some times in every parent’s life where they need immediate, drop-in care for their child. The Back-Up Care Advantage Program is a resource available to assist with those situations.
