Effective July 31, 2008, new features are available to assist you with Oracle iProcurement catalog ordering (CWA).
New Features
Fast access to supplier web sites from within iProcurement catalog shopping and the ability to add items to your iProcurement catalog shopping cart directly from the supplier's site.
Participating suppliers include:
- Dell
- Grainger
- Invitrogen
- NewarkInOne
How It Works
From within iProcurement catalog shopping, one click on the supplier's icon will take you to the supplier's site allowing a one-stop shop and improved visibility to new products. You can select items from within the supplier site and populate them directly into your iProcurement catalog requisition (CWA) shopping cart. Items from multiple suppliers can be added to a single requisition. As before, upon approval of your requisition, the order(s) will be electronically placed with the supplier(s).
Benefits
Access to the supplier sites provides up-to-date product information, ensures accurate availability information and offers items at the current Stanford-negotiated pricing.
When purchasing Dell products, the Dell site features the ability to customize your computer configuration, eliminating the need to create an E-Quote separately as was previously required. If you have saved E-Quotes that you would like to duplicate, you will still have the ability to retrieve and add them to your shopping cart.
