New I-9 Form AVAILABLE NOW
U.S. Citizen and Immigration Services have released a new version of the I-9 (Employment Eligibility Verification) Form. The new I-9 Form is AVAILABLE NOW by visiting Payroll for Employees, Forms.
Effective 12/7/07 Old Versions of the I-9 Form Will Not Be Accepted
Beginning 12/7/07, the new form will be required for all new hires, employment eligibility updates and re-verifications. Older versions of the I-9 will not be accepted after this date.

The U.S. Citizen and Immigration Services have also updated the Employer Handbook, Instructions for Completing the Form I-9 to a more user-friendly format. For your reference, the Handbook includes examples of documents acceptable for verifying employment eligibility.
