Effective Tuesday, July 1, 2008, Mileage Reimbusement Rate Increases
The IRS has increased the government mileage rate to 58.5 cents per mile effective July 1, 2008. Stanford University’s mileage reimbursement rate policy is to match the IRS rate, so as of July 1, 2008, personal auto use will be reimbursed at the new rate of 58.5 cents per mile. The iOU module for reimbursements has been updated to reflect this new rate.
