The Stanford Biosciences Student Association (SBSA) Fellowship Mentoring Program was established to provide graduate students with accessible resources to help strengthen their fellowship applications. Our ability to write and secure federal funding are fundamental to our development and success as future scientists. The goal of this program is to equip students with resources to become better writers and (hopefully) increase the number of fellowships awarded to graduate students in the Biosciences.
The SBSA Fellowship Mentoring Program offers one-on-one mentoring for the National Science Foundation Pre-doctoral Fellowship (NSF) and the National Institutes of Health F31 Ruth L. Kirschstein National Service Award (NRSA; Individual and Minority). We also offer limited resources for the NDSEG, SIGF/Bio-X, and DARE pre-doctoral fellowships.
