Seed Grants
CIGH has launched a multidisciplinary seed grant program to support research projects to apply innovative approaches to global health problems in resource-poor settings.
Grants are supported by a group of donors, including: the Stanford University Office of the President, the Dean of the School of Medicine, the Woods Institute for the Environment and the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies.
Fogarty Global Health Equity Scholars Fellowship
The Stanford Center for Innovation in Global Health (CIGH) is pleased to announce its participation in the Global Health Equity Scholars (GHES) Consortium, together with the University of California–Berkeley, Florida International University, and Yale University. The GHES Fellowship program has been funded by the Fogarty International Center at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The GHES Consortium has assembled mentors, partnered with international research sites, and identified research opportunities focused on training ~40 researchers over the five year grant period to address new and emerging challenges in health in the slum areas of urban and rural low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) throughout the world.
