Teaching Statement

Leslie Simone teaches OB 346: “Inside Life and Leadership” with Brian S.Lowery, Walter Kenneth Kilpatrick Professor of Organizational Behavior at the Graduate School of Business. Leslie draws on 17 years of broad experience in operations, talent management, entrepreneurship, business development and direct sales, coupled with over 15 years of training in the Handel Method, to create high performance leaders, teams, and organizations. Her unique perspective is informed by coaching and consulting in various industries including: high-tech, advertising, executive advisory, financial services, hospitality, legal, healthcare, pharmaceutical, and in universities and the Federal government. Her commitment in this course is to provide a framework for students to reliably produce results personally and professionally. She helps students examine themselves, the legacy they wish to leave, and the environments in which they choose to engage to maximize their success as leaders.

Bio

Leslie is the EVP of the Handel Group’s West Coast division and the founder of Chi Holdings, Inc., a workspace productivity firm. As an executive team member of the Handel Group, Leslie leads programs, seminars, and advisory projects with client companies across the globe. Leslie co-created and managed the Corporate Talent Management division, ensuring that all Handel Group consultants are trained to deliver the Handel Method® to a diverse industry clientele. She designs programs, codifies the Method®, and trains business leaders, academic experts, and international peacekeepers. Her experience ranges from companies on the Fortune 50 to family businesses to high-tech ventures in Silicon Valley.

Prior to her work with the Handel Group, she served in both sales and operations capacities for firms in technology, visual arts, and consumer products.  After intensive training in streamlining operations and in workspace productivity solutions, she incorporated Chi Holdings, Inc. to provide workspace productivity consultations that dramatically improved employee productivity, increased ROI, upgraded employee satisfaction and created aligned workplaces.
