Bio

Driven by a belief that quality education can transform individuals, society, and the economy, I specialize in helping social, private, and public sector organizations solve the most pressing problems in education today. During three decades working in education, strategy, and organizational design, I have served large private foundations, K-12 education systems, universities, and nonprofit organizations. At McKinsey & Company, we are supporting clients to develop effective, innovative, and scalable strategies to transform school systems, strengthen higher education, and improve the pathway from education to employment.

I returned to McKinsey after working in leadership positions at The Bridgespan Group, where I was founding partner of their San Francisco office, leading the group’s work in K-12 education and foundation strategy, Monsanto, and the Stupski Foundation. I also devote time at McKinsey to leading our Women’s Initiative and am involved in our “Women in the Economy” effort, which provides insights on how companies can unlock the full potential of women in their organizations.
