The musculoskeletal tumor service is a highly specialized team of surgeons and allied health professionals dedicated to the state-of-the-art evaluation and treatment of tumors of the bones and soft tissues. The team takes care of patients at both Stanford and Lucille Packard Children's Hospital and works with oncologists, radiation therapists, interventional radiologists, vascular and plastic surgeons, and specialized radiology and pathology experts to provide optimized multidisciplinary care of complex cases. The service is optimized for fast access to our clinics and clear and fast communication with patients. Through our work in the Stanford Sarcoma Tumor Board, Sarcoma Alliance for Research through Collaboration and the National Comprehensive Cancer Network, we promote excellence in care. The service also participates in many cutting-edge research protocols for those with tumors requiring special treatment:
