  1. Alzheimer's Association: Cuidando Con Respeto

    Participate in a FREE two-day workshop taught in Spanish for Latinos caring for loved ones with memory loss. Learn about Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia, the different stages of this complicated disease, ways to help your loved one and understand difficult behaviors, and how to take care of yourself as a caregiver and to share your experiences. This is a two-part workshop – please plan to attend both sessions. Respite assistance is available. Spaces are limited – registration is required.   1. Community Budget Meeting - District 2

    May 19, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

    During the month of May, the City of San José will host 10 Community Budget Meetings in every City Council district. These meetings offer residents the opportunity to learn about the City's current fiscal outlook and share their top budget priorities directly with City leaders.

  2. Neighborhood meeting regarding medical marijuana in District 5

    May 19, 6:30 PM @ District 5 Meeting Mayfair Community Center

    In April and May, the City of San José will be holding Neighborhood Meetings in all ten City Council districts and at City Hall to discuss the subject of medical marijuana in San José and the citizens’ initiative on the local ballot in June. If passed, the local initiative (Measure C) would replace the City’s current medical marijuana program.
